How to Configure Store Availability and Inventory
Control which branches can sell an item and manage stock levels per store
Overview
The Store Availability (List Store) setting allows you to:
- Define which branches are allowed to sell a specific item
- Manage inventory tracking at the store level
- Prevent unintended item visibility across locations
This is especially important for multi-branch operations where not all items are available in every outlet.
Configure store availability when:
- An item is exclusive to certain branches
- Testing a product in selected pilot stores
- Managing region-specific menus
- Controlling operational differences between outlets
- Implementing branch-level inventory tracking

Configuring Store Availability (List Store)
After completing the Modifier setup:
- Click Save & Continue.
- You will be redirected to the List Store configuration page.
- You will see a list of all active branches.
- Select the stores where this item should be available.
If a store is not selected:
- The item will not appear in that storeβs POS, Kiosk, or Online Ordering system.
Default Behavior
When creating a new item:
- All stores are selected by default.
- You must manually deselect stores if the item should not be available everywhere.
Track Stock
Purpose (Why)
The Track Stock option allows you to monitor inventory levels at a specific store.
When enabled, the system will:
- Deduct stock automatically as sales occur
- Track remaining inventory quantity
- Trigger alerts when stock reaches a defined threshold
How to Configure
- Enable the Track Stock checkbox for the desired store.
- Enter:
- In Stock β Total available inventory quantity
- Low Stock Alert Threshold β The quantity at which the system sends a reminder
Example:
- In Stock: 50
- Low Stock Alert: 5
When inventory drops to 5, the system will notify the store.
When to Enable Track Stock
Enable this feature when:
- Selling limited or seasonal products
- Managing perishable goods
- Operating high-volume branches
- Requiring tighter stock control
Do not enable if:
- Inventory is managed externally without system integration
- The item has unlimited availability
Important Notes
Even if a store is selected in List Store, the item will not appear automatically.
You must still:
- Assign the item to a specific Menu
- Ensure that the Menu is active for that store
Store selection controls branch eligibility.
Menu assignment controls visibility within the sales interface.
Both configurations are required.
Best Practices
- Review store selection before publishing new items.
- Keep a clear policy for branch-exclusive items.
- Enable Track Stock for high-value or limited items.
- Set realistic low-stock thresholds based on average daily sales.
- Always verify both store selection and menu assignment before going live.
