Overview
Points reward members for spending with you. Members earn points on qualifying purchases, then use them in two ways: redeem them off the bill at checkout, or redeem them for rewards in your Points Marketplace. You control the earn rate, how much a point is worth, how long points last, and what’s available to redeem.
Points live in two pages under Points in the Loyalty app: General Policy (how points work) and Points Marketplace (the rewards catalog).
Note Points only accrue on paid or completed orders that have a member attached. A member’s point balance is a single pool shared across all of your stores.
Part 1: Points General Policy
Open Points → General Policy. Turn Points Settings on to enable the program, then configure the sections below.
Earn rate & expiry
Under Amount Spent = How Much Points Earned, set:
- Amount Spent — how much a member spends to earn...
- Points Earned — ...this many points. (For example, spend 10,000 → earn 1 point.)
- Points Valid Period — how long earned points last, as a number of Months or Years.
Points are calculated automatically on the eligible order amount and rounded down to a whole number.

Note Each batch of points expires based on the Valid Period set when they were earned. Expired points simply stop counting toward the balance. There is no “never expires” option — you must set a period (up to 1000 months/years).
Direct Discount (redeem points off the bill)
This controls how members spend points at checkout. Under Per Points Earn = How Much (for Redemption), set the conversion:
- Points Earned — a number of points equals...
- Amount of Redeem — ...this much money off the bill.
Then, under Max Number or Percentage Allowed to Redeem Off per Bill, set:
- Maximum Points/Percentage — cap how much of a bill points can cover, either as a fixed number of Points or a % of the bill.
- Minimum Spent — the smallest order amount at which members are allowed to redeem points.
When the ordering screen applies points at checkout, the discount follows these rules.

Reward Redemption
Turn Reward Redemption on to let members browse and redeem rewards in your Points Marketplace. Remember to add items to the Marketplace (Part 2) so there’s something to redeem.
Click Save to apply your policy.

Note Earning points and redeeming them off the bill (Direct Discount) are available on both the Lite and Full plans. Reward Redemption and the Points Marketplace are Full plan only.
Part 2: Points Marketplace
The Points Marketplace is a catalog of items members can redeem using their points. Open Points → Points Marketplace and add redeemable items.
Adding a redeemable item
For each item you set:
- Redeemable Item — choose one of your existing menu items. Its name and image come from that product.
- Points Required — how many points a member spends to redeem it.
- Order Type — which order types it can be redeemed on: Dine In, Takeaway, and/or Delivery.
- Valid for Stores — which stores offer it (or All Stores).
- Start Time / End Time — the period the item is available to redeem.
- Total redemption limit — a cap on how many can be redeemed overall (Limited or Unlimited).
- Limit per member — a cap per member (Limited or Unlimited).

Caution Points used for redemption are not refundable. Make sure the points cost and limits are correct before activating an item.
How members redeem
When a member redeems an item, their points are deducted (oldest/soonest-to-expire first) and a voucher is issued to their account, which they then use on an order. The redemption stays valid until 24 hours after the item’s end time.
Managing items
From the Marketplace list you can Preview, Edit, Duplicate, or Delete items. Each item shows a status — Active, Inactive, Pending (scheduled), or Expired — based on its dates.

Tracking Points
Open Reports → Points to see points activity per member, including Points Earned, Points Redeemed, and Points Expired, with date and transaction detail.
Best Practices
- Keep the earn rate and redemption value simple and consistent so members can understand what a point is worth.
- Use the per-bill cap and minimum spend to protect your margins.
- Set a sensible expiry to encourage members to come back and use their points.
- If you turn on Reward Redemption, add a few attractive Marketplace items so members have something worth saving for.
